Born into a Christian farming family in Newbiggin-on-Lune, Mark went to school in Kirkby Stephen and is now a self-employed contractor in landscaping and building maintenance work. Mark is married to Helen and they have two grown-up daughters, Naomi and Lauren.

Mark committed his life to Jesus at the age of 17 during a Mission England campaign held in Newbiggin and was a member of the Methodist chapel there prior to joining Parr Street Church.

Mark enjoys his work, walking and family life and he is a regular member of our music team, helping to lead the singing in our services.
