Our Sunday gatherings in the church building are now at 9.30am and 11.00am for limited numbers of people. The front of the room is designated for those who prefer not to wear a mask and do not wish to socially distance, while the back is for those who wish to have both measures in place. We are also allowed to sing again. Creche space is available for parents and very young children if needed. If you’re able to visit in person please book your place.
We’re a friendly and informal Kendal church that seeks to love and follow Jesus and long for others to know Him and follow Him too.
We are a church for everyone, welcoming people from all ages and backgrounds and whatever their understanding of the Christian faith.
Coming along on a Sunday is the best way of getting to know us and we hope you’ll find a warm, friendly atmosphere where things are explained clearly. Of course, we can’t promise everything will be perfect as we aren’t perfect. It’s good to remember that the church is not a club for good people but a hospital for sinners. We are an imperfect body of believers convinced of the good news at the heart of the Bible – that Jesus loves us in spite of ourselves.
We look forward to welcoming you at Parr Street!
Paul Baxendale - Pastor
“This is love: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sin.” (1 John 4:10)
