Andrey was born in Kiev, Ukraine (then part of USSR). He was brought up in an atheist family and by God’s grace accepted Christ as his saviour at the age of 15. Andrey came to Kendal as a student at the age of 17, was welcomed into the Parr Street Church family and has lived in Kendal ever since. Andrey is husband to Olesya and the father of teenage children – Leona and Daniel. To relax, Andrey loves to spend time with his family and friends in the outdoors – walking, skiing, biking or sailing and always admiring the wonder of God’s creation.
